Annual Award Event, The British Photography Awards
The Dorchester, Mayfair, London
The British Photography Awards (BPA) run an open, responsible competition aimed at celebrating photographic talent from all British and British-based photographers. They work with a range of UK charities to operate a non-profit competition cashflow.
Since its inception, more than 15,000 photographs have been submitted, 380 photos were shortlisted in various categories. Three photos of my submission (Neon Red and Open the Window in Fashion category and 1 in Wedding category) were shortlisted by the competition panel.
Late November 2022, at the night of award presentation event held in The Dorchester, Mayfair, London, my name was called as the winner for Wedding Category for 2022.
I do hope this award provided me energy and recognition to further develop my own photography profession in Britain. I’m so proud to be a British-based Hongkonger winning the award with the photo taken in Hong Kong.
